A little bit about me

Though I picked up my first camera at the age of five, my passion for photography emerged with the digital age. Armed with the freedom to take thousands of photographs of the details that fascinate me, I worked to create images that convey my unique way of experiencing the world, always looking closer, always attuned to the beauty constantly, stubbornly surrounding us. It is my hope that my work will be for others what it is for me – a practice of presence and awareness that spills over into all aspects of life. That it inspires you to keep your eyes open to the drama, decadence, and life happening in the most ordinary places. That you will notice the beautiful stories and intricate relationships in our surroundings – the curve of a rooftop in conversation with a wrought-iron fence, the rhythmic pattern of rock on a hillside, the intimate choreography of reflections in a rippling bay. With my photography, I aim to call attention to these details so often missed, overlooked as we rush and move through the demands of our days. The soul of my work is a question – will we stop, will we see?

A little bit about my pieces

In an effort to bring my passion for small details to everyday life, I use my photographs in jewelry and drink charms.

Jewelry: All of my jewelry is made of fine or sterling silver components and includes a tiny photograph, professionally printed on metallic paper for the perfect amount of shine. The photograph is then sealed and protected with hand-poured resin. My jewelry is water resistant and the photo is well protected by the resin.

Stemless Wine and Drink Charms: For use on both stemware and stemless glasses, my wine and drink charms also feature a tiny photograph professionally printed on metallic paper. The photograph is then covered with hand-poured resin. Wine charms are not dishwasher-safe.
